- Introduction: Used for staining proteins on polyacrylamide gel, agarose gel and nitrocellulose membrane.?After electrophoresis, it is recommended to fix the protein on the gel.?The glue is stained with 0.1% amino black 10B in 7% (v/v) acetic acid solution for at least 2 hours, and then decolorized with 7% (v/v) acetic acid solution.?The detection sensitivity is about 20% of the Coomassie Brilliant Blue R250.

- Amido Black 10B is used as a histological, protein, and nucleic acid dye used in electrophoresis. Naphthol Blue Black is an important and commonly used industrial dye. This dye is also used in rapid staining of protein bands on nitrocellulose membranes such as Western blots. Naphthol Blue Black can be utilized as a nucleic acid stain in SDS-Page gels. Additionally this compound has been untilized in cell proliferation assays and histochemical studies. It is also used in criminal investigations to detect blood present with latent fingerprints. They are also used in paints, inks, plastics and leather.
