With the CAS registry number 8022-96-6, Oil of jasmine is also named as Concrete Jasmin Italian. The product's categories are UVCBs-biological; Natural Plant Extract. Big Oil of jasmine is yellow red or reddish-brown waxy solid and small is light green to brown viscous paste. They all have strong jasmine aroma. And the main components are linalool, benzyl acetate, farnesene, benzyl alcohol, paracresol, cis-jasmone, hexenyl benzoate, eugenol, jasmine lactone, benzyl benzoate, methyl jasmonate and indole, etc. In addition, people should not breathe the vapour of this chemical and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Moreover, it should be sealed in the ampulla and stored in the cool and dry place.
Preparation of Oil of jasmine: Using Jasminum officinale var. gradiflornum and Jasmine Sambac as raw materials. Then using petroleum ether or butane to digestion. Finally, evaporating the solvent to get the product.
Uses: It is allowed to use as food spices by China GB 2760-96. Using in candy 1.0 ~ 3.4mg/kg; baked foods 1.0 ~ 15mg/kg; cold drinks in the 1.0 ~ 1.5mg/kg; gels and puddings class 1.0mg/kg; drink 0.7mg/kg. And it is mainly used in perfume and soap fragrance.
