Inorganic Salts

Inorganic Salts, the salts of inorganic compounds, are mineral nutrients that exist in the body and food. Most of the inorganic salts in cells exist in the form of ions, which are composed of organic and inorganic substances. In biological cells, it generally accounts for only 1% to 1.5% of the fresh weight, which refers to the quality of the cell in its natural state. At present, the human body has found more than 20 kinds, of which a large number of elements are calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, magnesium, chlorine, trace elements such as iron, zinc, iodine and so on.

Inorganic Salts is the structural component of cells, and some Inorganic Salts are important components of some complex compounds in cells.; Inorganic Salts participates in and maintains the metabolic activities of organisms,; Inorganic Salts maintains acid-base balance in organisms,; Inorganic Salts maintains cell osmotic pressure, especially plays an important role in plant nutrient absorption.

Some of the raw materials and intermediates used in the production of Inorganic Salts are toxic, corrosive or explosive substances, such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid are strong acids and corrosive, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and chlorine are toxic and explosive dangerous substances, and hydrocyanic acid is a highly toxic gas. While some Inorganic Salts have strong corrosiveness, irritation and toxicity, such as hydrogen peroxide, chlorosulfonic acid and hexavalent chromium salt, and many Inorganic Salts are flammable and explosive, such as potassium chlorate is strongly heated or explodes when it comes into contact with strong acid. Therefore, it is necessary to take corresponding measures to prevent these hazards, understand the protection of raw materials and intermediates in the production process of inorganic salts, and operate in strict accordance with the relevant regulations when using inorganic salts.
