Coal chemicals

Coal chemicals is an industry that uses coal as raw material and converts coal into gas, liquid, solid fuel and chemicals through chemical processing to produce a variety of chemical products, including traditional coal chemical industry and new coal chemical industry, traditional coal chemical industry includes coal coking, coal calcium carbide and other fields; new coal chemical industry includes coal-to-methanol, coal-to-natural gas, coal-to-oil and so on. The new coal chemical industry is more environmentally friendly and can replace some petrochemical products. With the continuous reduction of world petroleum resources, coal chemical products have a relatively broad prospect. The main products of coal chemical industry are methanol, acetic acid, methane chloride, acetate, polyformaldehyde and so on.
