Petrochemical Products

Petrochemical Products refers to the petrochemical products produced by the petrochemical industry, which uses oil or natural gas as raw materials and makes chemicals, also known as petrochemical products. After various processing processes, petroleum can be produced into petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, asphalt, petroleum coke, liquefied petroleum gas, etc., and can provide rich raw materials for chemical products such as plastics, synthetic fibers, synthetic rubber, synthetic detergents, chemical fertilizers, pesticides and so on.

The first step in the production of petrochemical products is the cracking of feedstock oil and gas (such as propane, gasoline, diesel, etc.) to produce basic chemical raw materials represented by ethylene, propylene, butadiene, benzene, toluene and xylene. The second step is to use basic chemical raw materials to produce a variety of organic chemical raw materials (about 200 kinds) and synthetic materials (synthetic resin, synthetic fiber, synthetic rubber).
