silica Fume(microsilica) is a high performance strenght concrete additives
It is a by-product from the production of Ferro silicon using the arc furnace method. It is used in pre-mixed concrete for enhancing mechanical properties of concretes with special performance requirements, including increased strength, reduced permeability, improved abrasion resistance and increased corrosion resistance.

Appearance: Light grey powder
SiO2: 85%-94%.
Bulk density: 350kg-700kgs/m3
Packing: 25kg/bag or 500kgs/bag

  •  Corrosion Inhibitor concrete admixture is an admixture providing corrosion protection for concrete containing steel reinforcement and prestressing strands. Used for concrete in contact with chlorides from deicing salts or from a marine environment. Effective in parking structures, marine structures and bridges. May be used with other corrosion protection products such as silica fume, epoxy-coated rebar and surface sealers


    Corrosion occurs in the presence of oxygen, moisture,and an electrolyte.As chlorides attack the reinforcing steel, the salt intensifiesthe electrolyte properties of

    concrete, thereby creating a corrosion cell.Asthe corrosion reaction occurs, rust isformed. It migrates away from the reinforcing bar, leaving more iron to be

    corroded. This process continues and two situations


    1. The reinforcing bars disintegrate, which reducesthe flexuralstrength of the concrete structure; and,

    2. Iron, asit oxidizes, expandsto four timesits original volume. This expansion resultsin physical disruption of the concrete. Typical results are cracks,stains,

    crazing,spalling and pot holes; all of which are safety hazards.
