إيثاناميد

إيثاناميد (60-35-5) هو مركب عضوي صلب بلوري عديم اللون، يتميّز برائحة خفيفة تشبه رائحة الأسيتون، وله نقطة انصهار تبلغ حوالي 82°م ونقطة غليان تقارب 222°م، وهو قابل للذوبان جيدًا في الماء والكحولات. يصنّف كأميد أليفاتي بسيط، ويُعد من المركبات الوسيطة الأساسية في الكيمياء العضوية الاصطناعية. يستخدم على نطاق واسع كمادة وسيطة في تصنيع المركبات الدوائية، لا سيما في إنتاج مضادات البكتيريا والمضادات الفطرية، وكذلك في إعداد مبيدات الآفات الزراعية والصبغات العضوية. كما يدخل في تركيب بعض البوليمرات الخاصة والمواد المضافة المستخدمة في صناعات الطلاء واللاصقات، مما يجعله مكوّنًا استراتيجيًّا في قطاعات الأدوية، الزراعة، والصناعات الكيميائية التخصصية.

Acetamide occurs as hexagonal colourless deliquescent crystals with a musty odour. It is incompatible with strong acids, strong oxidising agents, strong bases, and triboluminescent materials. Acetamide is used primarily as a solvent, a plasticiser, and a wetting and penetrating agent. Workplace exposures to acetamide are associated with the plastic and chemical industries.
