N, N-Dimetilacetamida

A N,N-dimetilacetamida (DMAc), com número CAS 127-19-5, é um líquido incolor, higroscópico e de odor ligeiramente amoniacal, com ponto de ebulição elevado (aproximadamente 165 °C) e baixa volatilidade relativa. Trata-se de uma amida aprotônica polar, classificada quimicamente como uma amida terciária alifática, derivada da acetamida pela substituição de ambos os átomos de hidrogênio do grupo amino por grupos metila. É amplamente empregada como solvente de alto desempenho em processos de síntese orgânica, particularmente na produção de polímeros como poliacrilonitrilo (PAN) e poliimidas, além de atuar como intermediário essencial na fabricação de fármacos, agroquímicos e corantes. Seu poder de solvatação excepcional e estabilidade térmica e química tornam-na indispensável nas indústrias farmacêutica, de materiais avançados, revestimentos especiais e fibras sintéticas.

N,N-Dimethylacetamide (DMAC) is mainly used as synthetic fibers (acrylonitrile) and polyurethane spinning synthetic polyamide resin and a solvent, but also it is used for separating styrene from the C8 fraction extractive distillation solvent, and it is widely used in the aspects of polymer films, coatings and medicine. Currently it is used to synthesize a large number of antibiotics and pesticides in the pharmaceutical and pesticide. The catalyst can also be used for the reaction, electrolytic solvent, paint scavengers and various crystalline solvent adducts and complexes.Used as the reaction solvent of pharmaceutical synthesis, synthetic fiber spinning solvents and synthetic resins, photographic chemicals chromogenic agent solvents, paints and other solvents, catalyst.
