グルコン酸ナトリウム

グルコン酸ナトリウムは、白色の結晶性で無臭・不揮発性の固体であり、水への溶解性が極めて高い。通常200 ℃以上で融解せずに分解する。グルコン酸のナトリウム塩であり、有機キレート剤およびカルボキシレート誘導体に分類される。主にその強い金属キレート化およびキレート保持（セクエストレーション）特性を活用され、工業用配合物において安定剤、腐食防止剤、洗浄剤として機能する。主要な応用分野には、建設化学品（例：コンクリート混和材）、金属表面処理、繊維加工、食品保存、医薬品添加物（賦形剤）が含まれる。また、洗剤および洗浄製品の配合において、リン酸塩の代わりとなる生分解性の代替品としても用いられる。
