パラジウム

パラジウムは、光沢があり、銀白色で延性に富んだ遷移金属であり、常温では固体であり、無臭である。融点は1554.9 °C、沸点は2963 °Cであり、標準条件下では揮発性が低い。第10族dブロック元素として、貴金属および触媒活性を有する遷移金属に分類される。パラジウムは、特にスズキカップリング、ヘックカップリング、スティルカップリングなどのクロスカップリング反応において、不均一触媒および均一触媒として広く用いられており、ファインケミカル、医薬品の原体（API）、先端材料の合成に利用されている。主な応用分野には、医薬品、農薬、液晶およびOLED材料、ならびに重合触媒系が含まれる。
