Nickel fluoride Market share- How big is the Nickel fluoride market?

China and the United States are the leading exporters of nickel fluoride, collectively accounting for the majority of global shipments, while Germany, Japan, and South Korea are the top importers, driven by demand from advanced materials and electronics manufacturing. Imports into the European Union and East Asia have remained relatively stable over the past three years, with modest growth aligning with steady Nickel fluoride prices and consistent industrial procurement patterns.

About Nickel fluoride

Nickel fluoride (NiF₂) is a green crystalline solid at room temperature, odorless and non-volatile, with a high melting point of approximately 1,475 °C. It is an inorganic ionic compound classified as a transition metal fluoride. Primarily used as a catalyst and precursor in metallurgical and electrochemical processes, it serves as a key intermediate in the production of nickel-based catalysts and specialty ceramics. Its main industrial applications include battery materials—particularly in lithium-ion and solid-state battery research—and the synthesis of nickel-containing functional materials for electronics and coatings.
