Emulsogen M Market share- How big is the Emulsogen M market?

Germany and the United States are the leading exporters of Emulsogen M (CAS 37335-03-8), accounting for the largest share of global shipments in recent years, while China, India, and South Korea represent the top importing markets. Emulsogen M prices have remained relatively stable amid consistent demand from pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulation sectors. Export volumes from Germany have shown modest growth since 2022, while U.S. exports have plateaued, and imports into Asia—particularly India—have risen steadily.

About Emulsogen M

Emulsogen M is a pale yellow to amber viscous liquid at room temperature, with low volatility and no characteristic odor. It is a nonionic surfactant based on ethoxylated fatty alcohols, typically derived from lauryl alcohol and propylene oxide. Primarily used as an emulsifier and solubilizer, it facilitates the formulation of stable aqueous dispersions and microemulsions. Its main applications are in agrochemical formulations (e.g., emulsifiable concentrates), industrial cleaning products, and personal care preparations. It is also employed in polymer emulsion synthesis and coating systems where controlled interfacial activity and compatibility with diverse active ingredients are required.
