Esfenvalerate is manufactured and used exclusively as an active ingredient in commercial insecticidal formulations, not as a chemical intermediate. Its primary applications are in agricultural pest control for crops such as cotton, fruits, vegetables, and cereals, as well as in public health and veterinary products for managing flying and crawling insects.
Esfenvalerate is the most potent insecticidal isomer of Fenvalerate (F279450), a pyrethroid insecticide used to control insects from food crops, animal feed and cotton products.
