Primarily used as a source of bioavailable zinc, it serves as a key intermediate in the production of zinc-based catalysts, pigments (e.g., lithopone), and electrolytes for galvanizing baths. Its main application areas include animal nutrition (feed supplements), agricultural micronutrient fertilizers, and pharmaceutical formulations (e.g., topical antiseptics and dietary supplements).
